The A-to-Z of Accessories: Keyring
Another tricky letter in any A-to-Z is K. The only accessory I could come up with for this entry was keyring (or key chain), but do let me know if you can think of any others! Keyrings are a great way to show your personality, even if your true self doesn’t always fit with the rest of your outfit, and they are always practical. After all, what’s the point in having one if it doesn’t keep your keys together? From the subtle metal key and leather tab of Ted Baker’s Klink keyring through to Suck UK’s ultra-practical key bottle opener, they are also at the cheaper end of the accessories scale. You can get keyrings in silver, in leather, and personalised in pretty much any way you want… including with photos in. Mulberry even sell a rather kinky looking (and expensive) gold coloured keyring called Valet that co-ordinates with their handbags.
Well, if key chains say a lot about the person who carries them, I’m not sure what mine say about me. A few years ago my friend Em bought me a denim key ring from her favourite jeans brand, Bettina Liano, and my friend Beth bought me a little Leela from Futurama. Both have been on my house keys ever since.
